    Hi ,
Attached a photo of the feeder. I have followed your plan and I can tell you thta it was quite clearly explained. For the wood I used oak as this is easilly avavailable here and durable Only aspect was the conversion into centimeer but still managable For the roofing I have taken a left over. The result is a very fine feeder and I am looking forward to the visitors!

    best regards

    Hello Sam,
I have built squirrel feeder according your drawing year ago and several generation of local squirrels like it very much!

All the best, Igor from Tallinn, Estonia.

    From Shawn

Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for posting such a great squirrel feeder plan. I was able to make two of them today for $25. I made a few minor changes such as using 3" screws to attach it to the tree and I also glued all of the seams for added strength.

Two things I thought you may want to change are about the glass jar. Your plan calls for a one gallon jar but it should be a half gallon. Also a Ball "Wide Mouth" half gallon jar is just a hair under 3.5" which will take a lot of the guess work out if you have a hole saw that size.

I've attached two photos for you.
    Thanks Again!
